Sedro Woolley knows how to put on a spectacular 4th of July celebration, and this year Willowbrook Manor joined the fun! We camouflaged the double-axel farm trailer with burgundy table linens and accent rugs to create a respectable 4th of July float. I invited my kids and my friends and their kids to ride bikes and sip tea to promote Tea and Tour. We paired classical music, tea cups, bikes and bubbles and had a great time doing it all! Click Here to watch a little video from the clips I took if you want to experience the fun we had.
I can't think of a better way to spend Saturday morning than enjoying tea and deliciously warm scones under the Tea Tent at Willowbrook Manor. But then again, I am biased. Last Saturday my tea guests included a delightful couple from South Africa. They rated my scones the best they have had here in the states.
The story of the iconic Northern State Hospital and adjacent farm come to life through Tea and Tour. Our 10-mile guided bicycle tour makes its debut next week! Learn of the rich history of this self-sustaining operation (and start the whole adventure with tea and scones). Bikes, helmets, and box lunch provided.
