It’s a Party and YOU are Invited!

Our 2^nd Red Falcon Road Launch Party is this coming Thursday, September 25^th, and YOU can be part of it! More on that in a minute, but first I need to introduce my mom and myself to new readers.

For those of you who are new to The Willowbrook Word, I’m Terry, owner and caretaker of Willowbrook Manor English Teahouse and Farm Stay. My mother, author Liz Adair, lives here as well. This is more of an announcement than a newsletter, so it will be brief.

Launch Party #2 ~

We are debuting three new episodes of Red Falcon Road, the YouTube channel my mom and I created (with a grant from the Skagit Lodging Tax Fund).

Of course, we have to make it a party, and White Branches Teahouse in downtown Mount Vernon is hosting this free event!

Thursday, September 25th at 6:30 PM

White Branches is a teahouse, theatre and cabaret. It is a fabulous place for our Red Falcon Road Launch Party #2. The fun begins at 6:30 on Thursday, September 25^th. Tickets are free, but you need to reserve them in advance. You can add-on to your ticket wine and a plate of sweets and savories for $15. Click HERE to get your free tickets.

I guarantee you will feel transported to another place when you walk into White Branches. It’s like Alice in Wonderland and Narnia combined. Truly a sensory experience.

White Branches Theatre ~

The White Branches Theatre can host up to 125 Red Falcon Roadies. This is where we will share the latest three episodes of Red Falcon Road. Highlighted businesses include:

• In Mount Vernon — LIDO, White Branches and Town & Country RV
• In Anacortes — AlleyCat, Dad’s Diner, the Majestic Inn and Spa, and Skagit’s Best Salsa
• In LaConner — Vintage LaConner, LaConner Pub & Eatery, and the LaConner Inn

We will have door prizes and our signature home-made ice cream sandwiches for refreshments afterwards.

Mom and I are having such a good time sharing the small businesses that make Skagit Valley a wonderful place to visit! Please Celebrate with us this coming Thursday.

A Lopez Island Bike Adventure ~

This coming Saturday we are hosting our Lopez Island bike tour. There is room for four more participants. The cost is $250/person and includes transportation to and passage for the Anacortes ferry, breakfast, a BBQ lunch at Spencer Spit, island history, ice cream at the Lopez Village, return ferry ride, and dinner at Willowbrook Manor. Guests can add one or two nights’ stay at Willowbrook Manor for $250/night. Click HERE to request a spot on our Lopez Island Bike Tour on September 27^th.
