Bring a friend for a weekend of visiting, learning, having tea, and creating home-made presents for the holidays. It is a way to treat yourself while you make extra-special gifts for friends and family.
About the Winter Workshop
The event begins Friday at 6:00 with a family-style meal and get to know you time. Our evening activity is making gingerbread men to share with neighbors or use as ornaments.
- Saturday morning tea and scone is followed by making a Willowbrook Woolley doll. This is a kit that is already sewn, you just have to stuff and sew on arms legs and face. The doll is featured in a child’s picture book that will accompany this adorable gift along with a packet of Willowbrook chamomile mint tea.
- Lunch is at Noon.
- Saturday afternoon classes include pie making and tea blending .
- Dinner is time for you and friends to venture out and enjoy the great food in Skagit Valley.
- Your Willowbrook Weekend Workshop will supply you with a dozen gingerbread men, a custard pie, recipe and pie boxes for you to make more at home and give as gifts, six packages of custom-made-by-you tea blends and the Willowbrook Woolley pin-striped bear or pink plaid mouse which is accompanied by a children’s book. Each gift will include a Willowbrook card for you to write use to write a note to the recipient.
Gifts you will be making…

You will make a dozen gingerbread men.

You will make Oley the Pinstriped Bear while you sip tea and visit with friends.

You will make Nin the cute little mouse while you sip tea and visit with friends.

Our class on giving gifts of home-made frozen or fresh-baked pies teaches simple tricks for easy pie-making.

You will make your own special tea blend for gift-giving.
